Amazing experience! We immediately noticed a difference in our dog after one session. I feel more confident handling my dog and the bad behaviors she worked through, and I now have the tips and tricks to keep building on her training.
Private & in-home dog training.
For owners who want to do the handling themselves. Aaron trains you and your dog together, in your own home, so the commands hold in the place your dog actually lives.
Private and in-home training is for the owner who wants to be the one holding the leash. You are not dropping your dog off and hoping for the best. Aaron comes to your home, works with you and your dog side by side, and hands you the timing and the handling so the commands hold after he leaves. It fits puppies, foundation obedience, and any household that wants the training built right into daily life.
What happens in a private session?
Marmon Family Dog Training runs private sessions in your own home, on your street, wherever the trouble actually shows up. Aaron reads your dog, sets the plan, and coaches you through the handling yourself. You practice it live, and a detailed video after the session keeps every step in front of you.
- Foundation obedience. Sit, down, place, recall, and loose-leash walking, built one clear step at a time.
- Puppy start. House manners, crate and potty routines, socialization, and biting handled before the habits set.
- Real practice at home. We train in your living room, yard, and neighborhood, not a rented facility, so the behavior transfers.
- You do the handling. Aaron coaches your timing and follow-through so you can keep building after the session ends.
- A video every session. You keep a detailed recap of exactly what to practice and how.
Is private training good for a puppy?
Aaron folds a puppy start straight into private training, which is often the best time to begin. Marmon Family Dog Training builds house manners, crate and potty routines, early socialization, and impulse control before the hard habits set, then layers in foundation obedience as your puppy matures. You learn the handling from day one.
If you would rather Aaron do the hands-on work and hand the dog back finished, look at board and train. Private training is the opposite bet: you put in the reps with Aaron in your corner, and you come out a more confident handler. Not sure which fits? Say so on the free consultation and Aaron will tell you straight.

Aaron was the most amazing person I could have imagined for the job of dog trainer. He took the time every single time to send me DETAILED videos explaining what was going on. I basically have a whole new dog and I am more than impressed with the work he did.
